Challenge

M/V Blandine's SWL 10-tonne monorail provision crane needed to be dismantled, rebuilt and reinstalled without pulling the vessel off her container line schedule.

Approach

YEKE's shore team dismantled the crane, rebuilt its structure and mechanism at the workshop, then reinstalled it on board between the vessel's port calls.

Outcome

The rebuilt monorail crane was returned to service without disrupting M/V Blandine's container line voyages.
