Challenge
The Australian submarine AE2, sunk in the Dardanelles during World War I, needed protection from corrosion to preserve the site as a war grave.
Approach
YEKE designed and produced a bespoke anode pod for the wreck, applying its corrosion-engineering capability to a unique historical underwater structure.
Outcome
The cathodic protection system safeguards the AE2 against corrosion attack, preserving the grave site, a project named “AE2 Silent Anzac”.
